Iodine myths debunked updated: Dienstag, 29. Mai 2018  11:11
Animated Video created using Animaker - www.animaker.com This is a short video that debunks the myth that Iodine is something that people can be allergic to. Many people believe that Iodine either in seafood or many other foods that we consume, is an allergen. Although there is a lot of Iodine in seafood people are actually allergic to the protein in the seafood instead. However, Iodine is a trace element, and no matter if it is found commonly in many foods, seafood, fast-food, or any type of food the bottom of it is this: humans cannot be allergic to trace elements! There are many trace elements found in the body, almost twenty-five of them to be exact. So remember you can deficient in iodine, but not allergic to it!
